Dear friends,
We give thanks this holiday season for 40 years of providing free lodging to families and friends visiting their loved ones in prison.
Generous donors like you have made that happen. Since 1984, your donations have allowed thousands of people to connect with their parents, children, siblings, partners, uncles, aunts and dear friends who are incarcerated. This year alone, we have booked 406 room nights, up 89 percent over 2023.
We have no paid staff; volunteers run the guest house, and our fantastic live-in house manager, India Pungarcher, books reservations, keeps the house tidy and — most importantly — makes our guests feel welcome.
